Earn a commission on every customer you bring to Bayan
Bayan is a customer-support platform: companies upload their knowledge and their support teams answer customers from it, in Arabic and English. Recommend it to your audience and earn a percentage of what the customers you refer pay, renewals included, within the programme terms.
- On the first payment
- 10%Of a referred customer’s first payment, once per customer
- On a plan upgrade
- 10%Of the upgrade charge when that customer moves to a higher plan, once per step up

How it works
- 1
Get your link
Sign up, verify your email address, then open the Affiliate page in your account and join. Your personal link is ready immediately.
- 2
Share it
Put your link in articles, videos, newsletters or social posts. It works on any page of the Bayan site, and a click is remembered for 30 days.
- 3
Get paid
When someone who signed up through your link pays, the commission is credited to you at the rates above. It is approved once its hold period ends, and the Bayan team pays out monthly once your approved balance reaches the minimum of your payout method.

Estimated total commission
$52.50
- First-payment commissions 10 × 10% × $15.00
- $15.00
- Renewal commissions 10 × 5 × 5% × $15.00
- $37.50
- Upgrade commissions, up to 0 × 10% × $120.00
- $0.00
An estimate, not a promise. This is arithmetic on the current rates and list prices, before the hold period and before refunds: a commission whose payment is refunded or disputed is cancelled. It is not a forecast and not a promise of income. It assumes every customer pays the full list price in US dollars, stays for the whole period and renews on the plan they started on. A commission is a percentage of what is actually paid, so a discounted payment earns less. Real results depend on who subscribes and how long they stay, and the rates can change.
Upgrades are charged pro rata, so the upgrade line is an upper bound: it uses the higher plan’s full price, and the real charge is usually smaller.

The terms, in plain language
The figures on this page are read from the programme’s current settings.
- Commissions are counted and paid in US dollars, and only payments made in US dollars earn one.
- A commission is a percentage of what the customer actually paid for that charge. A discounted payment or a prorated upgrade charge earns the percentage of that amount, not of the list price. The result is rounded down to the cent. The same rates apply to personal, business and enterprise plans.
- 10% of a referred customer’s first payment, once per customer. That means the first payment the customer ever makes: someone who first paid while the programme was paused, or while your account was suspended, counts as a renewing customer afterwards.
- 10% of the upgrade payment when a referred customer moves to a higher plan. An upgrade is the first payment on a higher plan than the customer has ever paid for, and it earns once per step up: personal to business, business to enterprise. A customer who drops down and later comes back up is renewing, not upgrading. An upgrade made while the programme was paused, or while your account was suspended, is not owed later. The renewal limit does not apply to upgrades.
- 5% of each renewal payment the customer makes, meaning every payment that is neither a first payment nor an upgrade. The current terms set no limit on the number of renewals.
- No single commission is more than $1,000.00, whatever the customer paid.
- Every commission waits 14 days after the customer’s payment and cannot be approved before that hold period ends. If the payment is refunded or disputed, its commission is cancelled. Once the hold period ends, a valid commission is approved and added to your payable balance.
You choose how you are paid from the payout methods on offer. Each has its own minimum payout:
- PayPalMinimum payout $20.00
- Bank transferMinimum payout $50.00
- STC PayMinimum payout $20.00
Bank transfers are paid to IBAN accounts only. A plain account number cannot be paid. We may stop offering a payout method. Your balance is kept and you are asked to connect another account.
- Payouts are processed once a month, starting on day 28, for approved balances that have reached the minimum of the connected payout method. Transfers are sent by hand and can take several business days to arrive. A balance below the minimum is not lost. It carries over to the next month.
- You connect your payout account in your dashboard and confirm it through a link sent to the e-mail address you sign in to Bayan with, not to the payout account. Nothing is paid to an unconfirmed account. After you connect or change it, nothing is paid to it for 5 days, as a security hold. After the e-mail address, password or two-factor setting of your account changes, payout accounts are locked for 3 days.
- Payouts are sent in US dollars. If your account is in another currency, your provider or bank converts it at its own rate. Transfer and currency-conversion fees charged by the payout provider or the receiving bank are borne by you. You are responsible for the accuracy of your payout account details and for your own taxes.
- If a transfer bounces or cannot be delivered, the payout is cancelled and its amount returns to your approved balance. If a payment is refunded or disputed after its commission was paid out, we may withhold that amount from your later commissions.
- Bayan never asks for card numbers, passwords for other services or one-time codes, in your dashboard or by e-mail. The only password we ask for is your own Bayan password, on the Bayan site, when you connect a payout account.
- A referral counts when a new customer creates their account within 30 days of clicking your link, or enters your code on the sign-up form. A code entered at sign-up takes precedence over a link clicked earlier. Attribution is set once, at sign-up, and does not change afterwards. People who already have an account cannot be attributed to you. The window can change, and it is never longer than 90 days.
- You earn nothing from your own payments, from a workspace you created or belong to, or from a payment you make on someone else’s behalf.
- Commissions linked to fraud or abuse can be rejected, and an account that abuses the programme can be suspended. A suspended affiliate earns no new commissions and receives no payouts.
- The rates and rules of the programme can change, and the programme can be paused. Each commission uses the rate in force when the customer’s payment is made. This page always shows the terms in force.
Frequently asked questions
Who can join?
Anyone with a Bayan account and a verified email address. Joining is free and does not require a paid plan. You join from the Affiliate page inside your account and get your link immediately.
When do I earn a commission?
When a person who created a new account through your link makes a payment in US dollars. You earn a percentage of what they actually paid, at the rate for that kind of payment: a first payment, a plan upgrade or a renewal. The current rates are at the top of this page. A sign-up that never turns into a payment earns nothing. You also earn nothing from your own payments, from a workspace you created or belong to, or from a payment you make for someone else.
How and when am I paid?
A commission is approved once the hold period in the terms above has passed, and never before it. If the customer’s payment is refunded or disputed in the meantime, the commission is cancelled. Payouts are processed once a month, starting on day 28, for approved balances that have reached the minimum of your payout method. Transfers are sent by hand and can take several business days to arrive. The methods on offer today: PayPal, Bank transfer, and STC Pay. Each has its own minimum, listed in the terms above. A balance below the minimum is not lost. It carries over to the next month. Payouts are sent in US dollars. If your account is in another currency, your provider or bank converts it at its own rate. You connect a payout account in your dashboard and confirm it through a link sent to the e-mail address you sign in to Bayan with. After you connect or change that account, nothing is paid to it for 5 days. Fees charged by the payout provider or the receiving bank are borne by you, and you are responsible for the account details you enter and for your own taxes. Bayan never asks for card numbers, passwords for other services or one-time codes.
How long do renewal commissions continue?
You earn the renewal rate on each renewal payment your referred customer makes, and the current terms set no limit on the number of renewals. We do not promise lifetime commissions: the terms can change and may limit how many renewals are paid, and each commission uses the rate in force when the payment is made.
What happens when a customer I referred upgrades?
The first payment they make on a higher plan than they have ever paid for earns the upgrade rate, once per step up: personal to business, business to enterprise. An upgrade is charged pro rata, so your commission is a percentage of what was actually charged, not of the new plan’s full price. A customer who drops down and later comes back up is renewing, not upgrading, and the renewal limit does not apply to upgrades. After the upgrade, their renewal payments earn the renewal rate on the higher price, within the renewal terms.
How is a referral attributed to me?
A click on your link is remembered in the visitor’s browser for 30 days. If they create their account within that time, in the same browser, they become your referral. If someone clicks the links of several affiliates, the last link clicked before sign-up gets the credit. A customer can also enter your code on the sign-up form; that code takes precedence over any link.
What will I see in my dashboard?
The number of sign-ups from your link, how many became paying customers, and every commission with its amount, the rate and the payment it was worked out from, and its status: pending, approved, paid out or rejected. Customer email addresses are masked to protect their privacy.
